The fine print:
For programs that are ten hours or less, fees are paid up front and clients will be reimbursed for unused time on a pro-rated basis. For custom quote programs, a fee payment schedule will be provided.
From time to time, things come up and we’ll need to reschedule. Generally there is no problem with this provided there is sufficient notice. Cancellations require a minimum of six hours notice.
I work one-on-one, in person. I am not able to offer a remote or zoom option at this time.
Since I work in person, I am limited by geography to the Greater Toronto Area. If you reside outside my 20km range, I will need to charge an additional $0.50 per kilometer. Unfortunately, I cannot take on clients residing more than 40 km outside my geographic range.
The minimum age for clients is 14. For clients under 16 years of age, a parent or guardian must be present in the home during sessions.
From time to time, questions crop up in between sessions. I am happy to respond to a reasonable number of questions by email, however complex or complicated questions will need to wait to the next session.
While I am knowledgeable about most things sewing related, I have my limits. I don’t want to waste your time or resources and I will be honest with you if I don’t think I can meet your needs and I will try to help you find the resources you need.
I am excited to help you learn new skills. Consequently, this means I won’t sew for you. Yes, I will coach you, no I won’t hem your pants.
